Jason Soares and JFRE Coad will put a vanload of complex audio equipment to good use at the Aspects of Physics CD release party this July. The duo performs a cerebral form of electronica known as Intelligent Dance Music, or IDM. With input devices ranging from synths to wireless transmitters, Aspects of Physics turns all standards upside down with its experimental forays into the philosophy of sound and music. The new album, "Systems Of Social Recalibration," will be available at the show.
Sagan will open, with an additional performance by Matador recording artist Lesser, who just wrapped up a tour with Matmos in support of Bjork.
Included with admission is a presentation of artwork relating to systems of social recalibration and the energy language system.
Not for the weak-minded, but highly recommended for the smart and curious.
