Starting with a stuffy Brit going on about some boring audio detail, Plastiq Phantom quickly jumpcuts into sonic manipulator territory. This is composed electronic music similar to Wendy Carlos' recent work, mysterious instruments play melodies against odd sound effects and swirling whooshes. A little synthpop here, a little classical influence there equals a soundtrack to Mr. Coffee Nerves' holiday in Bali, complete with Gamelan music.
