Aspects of Physics :: Systems Of Social Recalibration Review

San Diego's Aspects of Physics seek to map out the mathematic possibilities of an electro-fueled world of traditional rock instrumentation, textural electronic manipulations and indie-rock maneuvers. They benefit from the absence of vocals in constructing a truly arresting collection of music that transforms the physical space in which the listener hears music into a beautifully foreign terrain of guitar reflections, Atari 2600 memories and computer orgasms. In the span of seven tracks, Aspects of Physics manage to suggest a desert jam session of the classic '90s electronica mavericks with the Tortoise boys.
