My brain, she be on sensory overload while listening to this record. Instead of a coherent review then, all I am capable is a sting of adjectives that spew forth while listening to this deeply emotional journey: Instrumental, electronic, organic, textured, layered, dark, light, complex, in-depth, exhausting, invasive. Yeah, it's all of those things. It reminds me of a more "analog" sounding Rovo, mixed with the Matmos record that was comprised of surgical sound effects. It's kind of creepy, if only because it invokes feelings you may have thought were locked away deep down inside you somewhere. Somewhere between mind fuck and mind control. (CS)
