Aspects of Physics came about from the remains of the post-rock hypnotic band, Physics, which had no problem recording 10+ minute songs of repeating guitar layers. AOP take this sound and add to it elements from IDM (Autechre, Aphex Twin) to bring it into this century, furthering their need to experiment with sounds and music.
